based software engineering company DigAudio Inc. revolutionized sound-for-picture
in 1996, with the development of the TASCAM MM series digital dubbers.
Initially making it's presence in California - the epicenter of large
budget audio post, the MMR-8 &
MMP-16 modular multitrack machines were an enterprise grade digital replacement
for MAG dubbers and the ubiquitous DA-88. The MMR-8 / MMP-16 progressed
the non-linear digital revolution for reproducers & stem recorders
in large hollywood dubbing theatres. They remain to this day the
worlds only proven enterprise grade non-linear digital audio recorder
/ reproducer. MM-EDL is the replacement machine room transfer software previously known as TransAudio PipeLine. While at TimeLine Vista, DigAudio Inc. also developed TransAudio PipeLine and the OpenTL EDL
